You know that awesome feeling when you’re in your groove? Like when you can feel the energy from good music turned up loud and you are getting things done?
Maybe you’re writing and the words are spilling out almost faster than you can type.
Maybe you’re on a run and don’t even realize how long it’s been because you’ve hit your stride.
Or maybe it’s when you are checking all the to-do’s off your list and everything is falling into place.
And if you are anything like me it’s that awesome moment when you are working with other people and the ideas flow out and are building towards something great.
E is for Energy
I love the energy that occurs from brainstorming and problem solving with other people who get it.
This energy can come from working on a project together or it can happen while mentoring or being mentored.
The enthusiasm created when you work with someone towards a shared goal can be electric.
If you just came to a screeching halt and are shaking your head thinking you don’t love working with others just hang in there and give me another minute.
One of the fastest ways to fuel your business, to generate income for your family, is through connecting with other people.
Relationships in real life and online matter when you are growing a business.
The energy you put into nurturing and growing relationships is key to your success.
The ABC’s of 2020
When I kicked off the ABC’s of 2020, I mentioned that I had spent a lot of time in 2019 watching and listening to women who are achieving and surpassing their goals.
These women inspired me to pick more then just a word of the year for this new decade. 2020 needs a whole alphabet.
One of the things I noticed about these women is they all have a tribe supporting their efforts.
This support comes in all different forms from colleagues, to accountability buddies to client and coaches.
The women I have been studying have a community of people who know, like and trust them.
What if you already have the key to grow your businesses and all you need to do is unlock the treasure chest.
Business Relationship Nurturing
But to be fair, before I started studying the successful people around me I already knew how important nurturing and growing relationships is for business and career development.
And I’ve been lucky to have been taught about professional relationships building by some of the best.
What if focusing energy on your existing relationships led to increased visibility for your business and fueled your business growth?

I know how important it is to nurture relationships and sometimes even I have to make the effort to put energy toward it too.
