As I stood in the kitchen packing my daughter’s first lunchbox after Christmas break, I found myself blindly popping goldfish into my mouth.
It was 10pm and I wasn’t even hungry. Does this ever happen to you?
Do you ever find yourself in the kitchen fog eating?
It happened to me A LOT over the holidays with the plates of homemade Christmas cookies, fudge and snacks abundant in every kitchen I entered.
But the difference for me this year, and last night with those darn goldfish, is that the Noom Diet Plan taught me how to STOP when fog eating strikes.
I struggled with a “see food eat it” habit for as long as I can remember. A frustrating habit that kept me from maintaining weight loss.
And then I tried the Noom Diet Plan and it taught me how to conquer it.
Can you imagine what that would be like to be able to change a habit like that?
To be able to change your worst food habits in 2020?
To finally be successful with your new year’s diet resolution and become a new you with food?

What Is the Noom Diet Plan
You might still be wondering what exactly is the Noom Diet Plan?
The Noom Diet Plan is an app on your phone that teaches you how to change your food and eating habits.
Noom does this through short daily lessons, through assigning a coach to you and by matching you with a group of other people with similar food struggles to share the journey with.
And because at its core this is a diet plan, they also help you find the right number of calories your body needs to lose the weight.

How does the Noom Diet Plan Work?
How does Noom do all of this this?
When you click here and go to the Noom trial page (**FREE**) Noom is going to ask you a series of questions to help identify your personal food struggles and goals.
I found their algorithm, based on their many years of habit and nutrition research combined with their vast amount of user data, to be crazy accurate.
They pinpointed my biggest food hurdles perfectly with their daily lessons. Then the group I was matched with was filled with people working through the same food issues as me.
The Noom group has a coach who asks questions and challenges you to implement the lessons you are learning. You don’t have to use your full name in the group or even participate if an online group makes you uncomfortable but I’m really glad I did.
One of my favorite parts of Noom was my personal coach.
She worked with me to find better food choices and coached me through the emotional ups and downs of letting go of old food habits while I adopted much better new ones.

I even share what food swaps I made while still feeding my family meals they would enjoy too.
